Results from Easter Program:   It was a bittersweet moment as we wrap up another year of school/RCCF and start studying hard for our finals.  It was definitely needed to reflect upon just what Easter means to us and what Easter is really about.  Hope everyone had a great time and study hard, keep pushing.  ONLY 3 MORE WEEKS OF SCHOOL!!

Grad Banquet:   After all the craziness and finals, we going to have our grad banquet.  This year’s theme will be a Murder Mystery.  It’ll be on May 1, 2009 at Thomas Lounge (Christmas Dinner) in Oakham House.  For our grad banquet, we are asking everyone to bring canned/non-perishable foods.  Top 3 contributors will receive prizes.  So bring a friend, support your local food bank and enjoy the presence of your fellow CCF’ers.  Dress code: Formal.  Cost: $20.  Please contact: Angie Chan –> email: angieszechan@gmail.com.  Have a look at the posted posters.

Mar. 11, 2009 – RCCF Elections

Results from Pray for the Nations: Can’t explain how great it is to hear about other brothers and sister’s experience in other countries.  Their struggles, what God has been doing and just the awareness of what’s happening.   Let’s continue to pray for Zambia, the Philippines, Cuba and even here right at home.. Toronto.

RCCF Elections: Elections has always been an important night for RCCF.  So this year we’re encouraging may the WHOLE fellowship come on out and take some time out of their schedule to help elect, pray and welcome the new committee (Visionary Team) for 2009-2010.

Mar. 4, 2009 – Pray for the Nations

Results from Muffin Run: In continuing our Retreat’s theme, it was nice to have the opportunity to go out and talk to people around our campus.  Whether it was students, profs, etc.. it was nice to be able to pray for them and givem them a little treat to help them get through the midterm/assignment blues.

Pray for the Nations: This week’s program will be about on broadening our horizons to other countries around the world.  Learning about the country and some of the struggles other christians are facing living/evangelizing there.  Be ready for a great night and a chance to pray for our fellow brother and sisters half way around the world.

Feb. 25, 2009 – Muffin Run

Results from Retreat: Retreat as expected was simply AWESOME!!  Glad we were able to get there safely and had a time where we can get away from the busy noise and lights of Toronto.  God was definitely there and we hope we can continue growing together, as one voice.. for God.

Muffin Run: So in continuing retreat’s theme of, “One Voice” we wanna do something different.  For this week, we’re gonna head out onto the campus and connect with the people of Ryerson.  From students to profs, this time of year is crazy with midterms and assignments.  So as a fellowship, we wanna pray for them and keep them energized with a little treat, Muffin TIME. =)

Feb. 11, 2009 – Battle of the Sexes

Results from Bible Study: First Bible Study of 2009 and it was nice to get the opportunity to dive into the Word.  I believe the bible study gave us a chance to reflect and even evaluate where we are with God.  If we’re relying on worldly things, ourselves or are we really humbling ourselves before God, pressing only for Him.  Can’t wait to the next bible study, BE THERE!

Battle of the Sexes: YES!! You’ve read it right!  We’re having a Battle of the Sexes Program Night.  This is slowly becoming an annual event with great turn out and fun times that everyone remembers.  So don’t miss this year’s Battle of the Sexes.. come on out, run, fight, battle, defend and by any means possible represent the “better” sex.  SEE YOU THERE! =P

Feb. 4, 2009 – Bible Study

Results from Does God Exist: With the fellow CCF’ers there, we decided we should go and support C4C’s highly anticipated discussion on… Does God Exist.  We hope everyone had a good time there and learnt a little something.  Glad we were able to go and support C4C on their big night.

Bible Study:  Due to the change, we will push bible study to this week.  We’ll be looking into 2 Chronicles on the rise and fall of King Uzziah.  So come on out and let’s look into the life of a King who took the throne at the tender age of 16.  Remember, please bring your bibles for this week program, thanks.
